OUR MISSION
The Edible Schoolyard Project is a non-profit organization that aims to revolutionize public education by utilizing organic school gardens to teach both academic subjects and the values of nourishment, stewardship, and community.
Edible education provides students with hands-on experiences that connect them to food, nature, and each other while also educating them about environmental science and biology. Through this hands-on experience, students can learn essential life skills and academic science.
At its core, the Edible Schoolyard Project provides a dynamic and joyful learning experience for every child.
